Saw you guys tonite in Sydney (drove 2 hours to get there, woulda gone further). You owned it, despite a) the health issues and b) having to play 'support' to Yuck. Hey, they're OK, but I gotta say that I heard all that stuff 20 years ago (yep, I'm that old), and anyway they and no-one will ever reach the heights of My Bloody Valentine, so why bother? You are way more interesting, more adventurous, more original, and that's what it's all about for me. Next time, you won't be supporting anyone. Can't wait to hear and see where you go from here. It's gonna be huge, I have no doubt.
best

[...] EMA (aka Erica May Anderson) has a new song, “Angelo”, streaming at soundcloud. It’s the b-side to a single she released digitally called “Marked”. The new cut features Oakland rapper Mz’Gorjis of Platnum Platnum Glam Squad. It’s raw, with distorted guitars, reverb vocals and a real heavy presence, in part thanks to Mz’Gorjis. It might be a bit more straight forward that most EMA tracks, but this one won’t disappoint fans. In fact, it’s a power track. The song is set to be released on November 21st via Souterrain Transmissions. The single follows EMA’s full-length record, “Past Life Martyred Saints”, named one of Their Bated Breath’s albums of the year. The 7-inch will be limited to 1,000 vinyl copies, 800 black, 200 clear to the first 200 orders. Follow EMA on facebook. Read archived posts about EMA here. Note: Catch an EMA show (w/ Zola Jesus) here: Nov. 23rd at Heaven in London; Nov. 24th at Academy 3 in Manchester; Nov. 25th at Karizmer Liverpool. – David D. Robbins Jr. [...]

Hi,

last saturday I went to my record store after a long time and asked for new music. Having heard 10 seconds of your music I knew that I will listen to it for at least a week and - believe it - I did so.

Now I visit your web-site and looked up tour dates, but in the list for European countries I was desperately missing Germany. Please, let it not be true!

Best
